How to use QR codes for marketing?

I was arranging to put QR codes on our company vehicles, and I realized that I use them a lot, so I’ll try to write down how I’ve used QR codes for marketing (source where I picked up most of ideas, hope you’ll find it as helpful as I did). We’ve got an eCommerce store and a small physical shop, and QR codes have helped us bridge the gap between the two.

One thing that works really well is having a QR code on the “Closed” sign. It takes people straight to our website with a friendly “we’re closed but we’re always open online” message, and this extra online traffic has even led to more newsletter signups and online orders.

Another one I love is the auto-connect to our store’s WiFi. People come in, scan, and they’re instantly online and browsing. This keeps them in the store longer, and we’ve definitely seen more impulse buys.

We also include social media QR codes on our packaging, which help our customers follow us on Facebook or Instagram. This has strengthened our community feel and boosted engagement, leading to better word-of-mouth. Plus, adding a location QR code on our print ads makes it super easy for new customers to find us on maps, which has really increased foot traffic.

Feel free to add how you use them or how you think it would be a good idea to use them, I always open for suggestions.
